This plant is originated from the region of Rio Grande Texas in the USA. It is also called Texana.
This northern Lophophora species is really strong, it can support high and low temperature and can acclimate well to almost anywhere in the world.

Care instructions:

Soil: 20% high grade potting soil mixed with high mineral mix. Things like pumice, lava rock, crushed coral, crushed limestone pea gravel, crushed oyster shell, Turface mvp, Akadama.

Lighting: partial shade. They grow up under bushes and are never in full sun. If indoors, a great LED light can be bought from Spider Farmer (great prices on Amazon ). Can also be next to a window. If you have extremely bright grown lights a shade cloth can also be used to lower the light. If they elongate (etiolation) , you need more light, if they turn darker with reddish hue, you need less light.

Water: only water when soil substrate is 100% Dry.

Feeding: Amazon has great cacti fertilizer. It’s called Shultz Cacti fertilizer.
It can be used every time you water.
